Which type of salt can I use with this unit?

Hello, there are several choices in water softener salt, however, my water has a high iron content, so I purchase the Morton Rust Remover Salt Pellets because it removes 15X more iron. The system itself recommends Morton Water System Saver II Water Softener Pellets as it extends the softener life. I hope this helps!
