first time using sprayer,getting lots of splatter when painting and when finihed dripping from nozzle-what am i doing wrong

Did you make sure the black seal under the piece that turns the spray direction is still tightly turned? It can come loose when changing the direction spray and leak bad from the nozzle.

You are not doing anything wrong. Had the same problem and tried many things to fix it but nothing worked. This sprayer is just a bad product.

Dripping and splatter can be caused by a few things. If the components at the front of the gun are not tight enough, the nozzle seal were not seated completely or properly, or if the nozzle itself were damaged, the gun would behave that way. Please check those items, as it is likely a simple fix.
