Can oil-based Valspar paint be used over this bonding primer? It will be used exterior and I want a very durable finish.


Generally oil based products are not recommended to be applied over water based products. You can apply the top coat in a small test area first to ensure your satisfaction with the adhesion and appearance before applying it to the entire project.
