How does this work for both 40 to 1 and 50 to 1 blends?

I was using a 2 cycle oil that you added one tube to a gallon of gas and it could be used in anything, no matter what the fuel/oil ratio called for. So this may work the same way? Someone told me they run 50:1 no matter what is actually called for, said motors run cleaner.

The blend isn't true 40:1 or 50:1, it's close enough in-between that it doesn't make a difference what it is. 40:1 is 2.5% oil, 50:1 is 2% oil. The .5% difference isn't massive enough to really even matter in most engines.
