Is the diverter installed during rough-in or is it contained in the wall mounted system? If in the wall unit, how far apart are the water lines


Hi Robert! Thanks for reaching out to us. The Rector shower panel has a diverter valve, volume control valve and temperature control valve already built in. All you need to do is connect the included water supply hoses to the bottom of the temperature control valve. 1" to 1 1/2" space between the water lines should be enough to allow you to install the shower panel easily. - Jess, Vigo Product Support
