Why do you have to remove screen to adjust shade?


Ridiculous design. Solar is a very expensive answer to a poor design. Installed already, so was taken back when I realized the design.

The insect screen is installed on the stationary wood frame and the blind is installed up against the glass on the sash. The blind is behind the insect screen, therefore, the insect screen must be removed to operate the blind. Another option is to order the Solar Powered Blind, which is very convenient for operation on our VS Skylight. Thank you for choosing VELUX!
