Our Impact Glass is hurricane approved and can withstand hail storms. However, since it is glass, if hail hit it on the edge, just perfectly, the exterior glass could possibly shatter. The interior glass, if it should crack, will not fall into the room, though. Thank you for choosing VELUX!
