I have a utilitech wireless doorbell, should I not be able just to buy one additional button for the 2nd door?


Exact same problem I had. Apparently, new buttons are not compatible with older chimes/buttons, even those made by the same manufacturer. BUMMER!

Could not make the new button work 'in addition to my old button. This button had 2 two position toggle switches in lieu of the 8 connectors inside the old button, and, I could synch it with my old wireless chime, but if I did, then the old button wouldn't work. So, it might work if I buy 2 buttons, but not what I wanted to do.

I did but I couldn't get it to work.couldnt take it back because my sister picked it up for me so I had no receipt.
