Are the frequencies listed on the box?

These work off wifi. You set each Ring unit up from each apartment dweller's phone Ring app and select which wifi address to use. As long as each apartment has its own wifi, you will have no problems. Only the smart phone used to set up the particular Ring and anyone INVITED from that phone, will work with that Ring.
