Will this work on a fixture using 4 20watt fluoresent tubes?

Was this Answer Helpful ?it controls an electrical outlet and turns it on/off. what is plugged into that outlet is of no consequence and doesn't affect its operation, nor does the switch affect the operation of what's plugged into it except to turn it on or off.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Sure. That is only 80 Watts. This switch should be able to handle 80 Watts. I used it with two 4' 32 watt fluorescent light fixture.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It doesn't care what you have plugged into the wall. Could be a lamp, a vacuum cleaner, an iron, a dehumidifier, ...whatever. It simply turns the electrical current on or off using a switch that you can carry around and leave in different places. The only appliances it won't work with are ones that have a three prong plug--it accepts two prong plugs only.
