hello! im looking for some energy save lights for my home but i want them to be motion activated, to go off when no ones in the room


I just purchased a motion on light that just screws into a regular socket, and then you put in an energy saving bulb of your choice. The only draw back is that the motion section cannot be impeded by a cover..Ask the employee at Lowe's in the light section of the store. The one I installed was in our entry way, and it only stays on for ten minutes, and then only comes on when it detects motion.. I like it..

Look for the motion switch that replaces a traditional wall switch and does this function. Make sure it is installed by a professional or someone that has experience.
