Is this doorbell button lighted with an LED or an incandescent light?


The button is lit with an LED. It does not require additional wiring, as the LED draws its micro-current from the 14 volt doorbell transformer line. This does not work with wireless systems, the kind that have a battery inside the button assembly. This is only for 'wired' systems.
