If my replacement part recommends 240V 3800W. Can I use this 4500W heating element? Are there any concerns to use a 4500w when it recommends 3800?

Elements with a higher wattage rating than the water heater should never be installed. Please see Lowe's item 362342 for a 3500 watt, 240 volt, screw in type element that may be suitable for your water heater. Please contact the toll-free number on the side of your water heater to confirm the type of heating elements that can be used with your unit. Thanks - Gabe
