Will this work in place of a 120v 2000 watt element?


Yes, this item will work in place of a 120V 2000 watt, screw-in 1 inch NPT heating element but the heating capacity will be diminished due to the lower, 1500 watt rating. Please contact the manufacturer of your water heater to confirm this part will work on your unit.
