Do I plug the remote transmitter into the house outlet then plug in the 6 plug outlet of lites?


The remote TRANSMITTER does not plug into an outlet. The transmitter has the on and off buttons and "talks" to the receiver wirelessly. You put the transmitter in your pocket or place it somewhere convenient in your home. The RECEIVER (the part with the 2 outlets) is plugged into a wall receptacle.
