how does this reel mount on to the wall? Does it turn either way?

It does not mount on the wall, but can be hung on a nail or hook going through the handle hole.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It depends on how you want to use it while it's mounted to a wall: (1) If you merely want to store it on or against a wall, you can install some padded hooks into a board mounted independently to the wall studs, then hang the reel on the hooks through the large holes in the reel's side. (2) If you want to hang the reel on the wall, then use it to wind up the cord while it's mounted; hang the reel by the black hand-hold with the hand-hold rotated to its highest position; then the reel will turn easily while mounted.
Was this Answer Helpful ?It doesn't necessarily mount on a wall. You could probably use a hook on a perforated board to mount it, or a hanging hook. Yes, it turns either direction.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I can't see this mounting on the wall real well unless you have a large hook on the wall that will allow you to rest the middle of the reel on it. I wouldn't use a hook through the sides with the weight of the cord, but I would say through the middle is fine.

Was this Answer Helpful ?This roller is not designed to hang to the wall by itself. You would need to get a J hook or something to attach to the wall first. It will wind up in either direction.
