No they won't. Just make sure you use the three prong plug that it comes with on the cord. No hum and no static.

I do not detect static on AM or FM stations. AM static was really bad with my old fluorescent fixtures. Not any more with these LED beauties. The light is always bright regardless of temperature. I love them.
