What are the plug types?


The plug end is 20 ampere capable. You need a 20 amp socket to plug into to have the full 20 amps. There is an adapter pigtail that can be used to plug into a standard (10-15 ampere) socket, but now you do not have the 20 amps available. The cord is then limited to the 10-15 amps.
