Can I use this cord for a Rooftop RV air conditioner to hook to shore power? I'm currently running the A.C. off a 3000 watt Honda Generator.

Also, to add to the answer I just gave to the question that was asked in 2018, Are you, or were you on a boat. You did state Rooftop RV air conditioner to hook up TO "Shore Power" witch lead me to believe that your on a boat. are you ? Or were you? in that case. Do check with an electrician.

There should be a label on the A.C. stating the surge draw at start up, when the A.C. is at running mode and the amps it will draw when doing so,,,,,and the watts it draws at normal running mode when the condenser is not active or kicking on. They turn on and off during an A.C.'s running cycle. Therefor you must compare the tag on the A.C. to the tag on the cord, or imprint on the cords jacket (outer plastic part of the extension cord) to make sure your not going to exceed the cords amps. Also, goes for the same of the plug at the shore power hook up. Check with the camp ground personal if its a camp ground your staying at Etc. or house. if not sure at all call an electrician to come out and look at it for you.
