Utilitech Pro 180-Degree Hardwired LED 2-Head Motion-Activated Flood Light with Timer
What does the auto position in the timer area do? How long does the light stay on? Does it go off after there is no motion?

Was this Answer Helpful ?The timer switch on mine has 4 settings: TEST, 1' 5' 10'. The TEST position turns on the lights for 40 seconds after the power is turned on, regardless of motion or time of day. After the 40 seconds, you can adjust sensitivity by passing in front of the sensor and adjusting the sensitivity for the desired response. The other 3 switch positions establish the ON time for the lights following detected motion.
Was this Answer Helpful ?I recall it having a switch to control both sensitivity and length of time the light is on. Sensitivity is adjusted to how far or close movement to activate. The timer switch adjusts off after zero movement at 0 seconds, 1 minute, 2 min, 5 min and 10 minutes. It's been about 9 months since I installed mine, I adjusted to 5 minutes on with the most sensitive position. The only issue I have is where I installed the light doesn't get enough sunlight during the day to activate the daylight sensor to prevent it from activating during the day. That issue would happen regardless of the light unit. Hope that helps.
