The provided installation information discusses a couple considerations regarding maximum sensitivity use: It will increase the likelihood of false triggering; and for maximum range performance, allow the fixture to operate continuously in any mode for forty eight hours. Considering these, you may want to dial the sensitivity back from maximum just a little and ensure the fixture has been on for more than one day before fine tuning.

It goes off of test mode. It will have to be dark for the sensor to work
