I want information on wiring under cupboards.I need extensions

i bought 27 in lights with 18 inch connectors which seem like may cover the area u need

Each fixture regardless of length comes with one 36" power cord and one connector which is about a foot in length. I was told that is what is available to work with. I spliced the connectors for a longer run but you cannot do that with the line voltage power cord without using an enclosed junction box. I cut the power cord and on/off switch off and wired it directly to a junction box mounted under the cabinet. The incoming line voltage wires are connected to a light switch. There is one accessory available at Lowe's for this product. It is a Utilitech direct wire convenience box (item #240203) that can be used with any of the fixtures. You can mount it under the cabinet and feed the line voltage wires into the back of it. It provides 2 grounded receptacles and an on/off paddle switch.
