When i turn the dial to 4 hours, it doesnt turn on. It is plugged in. Does it take time to turn it on.


The unit will turn on after dark as there is a selenoid that allows it to turn on after dark and off in the day light. You set the timer for 4 hours, it will turn on at dusk.
