Why does the flood light keep turning off and then on every 30 seconds.


Hello Anonymous and Thank you for your question! You have the LIGHT too CLOSE to the Photo Cell. Move the light away from the Photo Cell about 12" and this won't happen. Thank you for contacting Lowe's.

Because the sensor is picking up the light from your bulb, thinks it's daylight and shuts off. Then when it's off, the bulb goes out and the sensor sees that it's dark outside, and turns your light on. Then your spot light is picked up by the light sensor, timer thinks it's daylight, etc. You have to set it up so the spotlight doesn't shine towards the light sensor

What do you have the setting on? There are multiple settings
