They are only supposed to work on the exact settings. Not in between.

Was this Answer Helpful ?They seem to only work on the hours on the unit as you have found. In Alaska I wish it went up to at least 12 hours or more, so I have to go to the on at dusk and off at dawn setting. That is over 20 hours some days !
