can this replace a conventional switch to control my outdoor coach lights?


I am currently using this switch for outdoor coach lights as we speak. as long as you amprage is right and you have access to a white neutral wire you should be good.

If you have a conventional switch inside the house you are now using, you remove it and use this instead.

Yes, it can be used for outdoor lights up to the wattage limit. However, the timer must be installed indoors. I installed mine to control several outdoor post lamps.

Yes, as this is what I did. I replaced a standard single pole switch for my front porch light. Just as long as you have a what neutral in your wall box to connect with the white wire as this will power the timer/clock. Insure you connect the black wire with the black wire in the wall box as this is your Hot Wire which powers the devise. The red wire is the Load Wire and should be connect to the other black or colored wire coming in from your outdoor coach lights and the green wire is the ground wire. Always use the include nuts provided. Good Luck.
