I use mine with LED's. No problem

It must be rated for LED or it will not shut off the lights properly. Same goes for motion sensor switches and dimmer switches. They must be rated for LED.

Yes, this is a timed switch. Any source that's powered by a 110 circuit can be operated with this timer.
