how do I set vacation mode?

Vacation mode varies the ON-OFF time +/- 15 minutes every day to give the impression to a potential thief that someone is in the home manually switching the lights on daily. Store employee did call me & said that his research found that this device does not have a vacation mode. What confused me was that the same Item #0141224, prominently displayed on the blister pack,which I had purchased several years ago did have the desired feature. I later found that the Model number located in small print on the back of the pack now is different!

couldn't you just keep it turning on at the same time every day? I don't remember mine have a vacation mode button. But maybe I missed something in the directions.
