What is the life expectancy of these 250 watt bulbs?

I thought you were joking with our question. haha. :) On a serious note. Halogen bulbs life expectancy is....your guess is good as mine. I have had halogen bulbs go out within a few days. I've had brand new spare bulbs inside the handle never work. Sometimes, if you jar the light, it can break the filament inside. I've had a 150 watt light that has been dropped so many times and it still works. I will say this. I have noticed that "Brand Name" bulbs tend to do better than the cheap stuff. I hope this helps.
