does this unit have battery backup?


YES it does. It has an internal battery back up which will remember your settings and the time etc.

Short answer: Yes. I could not find any mention of battery backup in the documentaion or by searching online. Yesterday I bought one. The unit I bought was marked: Utilitech Item #0141224 Model #TM-029-1 LW058001-092012. After I installed it, programmed it and tested it, I turned off the breaker again and the clock continued to run. The keys continue to work and my program was not lost. The display shows that the on-off switch continues to work but the switch does not light up when there is no power.
