I would like to know what electrical outlet box is required and recommended for the "Utilitech 30 Amp Flush Mounted Electrical outlet", Item #: 409853


This is a flush mount, it has a L shaped metal mounting plate the once wiring is complete the plastic cover slides over it with one screw to hold cover in place. Remember this sticks out from wall not recessed into wall.

You cannot use that receptacle, you must use a 4-wire receptacle. The 3-wire receptacle you selected is for existing pre-1996 installations.
