Yes, You can cut off the cord and wire directly into the ballast/starter. But you should know what you are doing before you try it.
Was this Answer Helpful ?Yes, that is possible but this light comes with a 5 foot power cord that you would have to be removed. also does not have knockouts for running a wire inside the unit. You would have to drill a hole for the wire. This light is not designed to be hardwired but you can do it with some modifications. My advice is to buy a 4 foot light that is designed to be hard wired.
