Probably is the ballast if you're sure you have power going to the fixture. The ballasts sold separately are more expensive than a new fixture. That's just the way it is.

Was this Answer Helpful ?READ the online description of the item and you will find that it has a one year limited warranty. It probably stated same with the info that came with the product when you purchased it. Very, very unlikely that any product of this type would be warranted for 2 1/2 years
