Thank you for your question, the Strip light fixture is all in one with no bulbs and smaller fixture that would not take up as much space as a traditional sholight whereas the Linear tubes would have placement for 2-4 bulbs in one fixture. While they both serve the lighting purpose the strip light fixture would be condensed in size
