How do you replace the lights? Does the whole thing have to be thrown away???

Thank you for your question, this unit has integrated LEDs and does not have replaceable lights, the whole unit would have to be replaced in when it stops working. It is rated for 50,000 hours and has a 5 year warranty from date of purchase for peace of mind.
