In a large room, solid floors, filled with furniture, 5 feet from unit, 30 degrees off axis and with a background noise of 35 decibels; my I phone recorded 54.8 dB on setting 1, 61.2 dB on Setting 2, and on high setting (3) 65.5 dB.
