You pick gallon size depending on how many faucets you have in your home. This 52 model with serve 13-16 satisfactory. Also, how many get used at same time maybe 2 maybe 4 at most.

9 years ago i replaced my galvanized tank with a similar product. With a few plumbing adjustments it worked fine. After 9 years that unit also sprung a leak.
