can i use a conventional shallow well jet pump from wayne with this pre charged tank

You can - simply follow the instructions included for connecting the tank. I would recommend a larger tank if possible at least a 20 gallon. Short cycling the pump (rapid on - off) is very bad for the motor and to extend the pump life the tank should be 3x the volume output of the pump. if you have a 7 gpm (gallon per minute) pump you should use a 21 (20 is ok) gallon tank. MAKE CERTAIN - you disconnect and plug any type of bleed back air system on the pump or in the well.
