I need an above ground pump to remove flood water from my lawn. Neighbor won't fix broken sprinkler. Will this work?

Please be sure to use the included suction strainer to prevent debris from entering the pump and damaging the impeller. These pumps work well when placed close to the source of the water. Be sure to keep the suction hose as short and straight as possible to help increase the gpm/flow of the pump.
