Is the pump automatic

This transfer pump will require priming each use if no foot valve or check valve is installed in the suction line, and will require you to plug into a 115v 60hz GFCI outlet. At the current time there are no automatic transfer pumps available, Lowe's offers a 1/3rd horsepower utility pump. Model number PPSU33 Item number 435062.
