How many amps does it draw?


With a clamp on meter and even when at full load of water, I see only 5 amps. I did this in a 5gal bucket with water. I wanted to be as close as possible to 15 or 20 amp breaker using the lowest breaker possible. You must use a Ground Fault Interrupt to protect from shock. I utilized a GFCI receptacle for use as a sump pump in basement. All My best to You!
