why did the 38" mower deck get excluded from having the wash kit installed? looks like you can drill your on hole, buy and install the kit yourself


As long as you drill the proper sized hole, you can install a deck wash kit on one or both sides to wash the mulch off the deck. The spindle on the deck wash side is always more clean than the other side. Two wash kits would keep it like new.

Hello. All of our newest mowers have the port for the deck wash available. If yours does not have this, then it was not designed to accommodate the port. We would not recommend drilling into your mower deck. Thank you for your question.
