Will this attachment work on a Kobalt 80 volt string trimmer even though Kobalt manual says not to use brush cutter head? Must you change the handle


It worked on mine for 2 years, then would not come off. Kobalt will not honor warranty on the trimmer now!

Note that it only works with the Kobalt 80-volt string trimmer "with attachment capability" that has a joint and hand knob in the upper portion of the long drive that allows you to easily remove the string trimmer bottom and replace it with this brush cutter head.

No problem. The package for this product says to not use with a battery-powered trimmer, but it attached easily and works great with the Kobalt and Greenworks Tool 80v trimmers. I may never go back to using the string.
