How do I change the blade? I used vice-grip pliers on the blade to hold it while I broke the nut loose. Now the nut turns but will not loosen. Is there a secret to stopping the shaft so I can get the blade nut off?

Hello Barnabas. To start, rotate the blade until the shaft bushing hole aligns with the locking rod slot. Then insert the locking rod through the locking rod slot and into the shaft bushing hole. Hole the locking rod in place by grasping the other end against the lower shaft housing. While holding the locking rod in place, unscrew the nut by turning it clockwise with a wrench. Remove the locking rod and then you can remove the blade retainer and blade. There are images in the owners manual along with these instructions. If you need an owners manual, please call us at 1-855-971-2271 and mention your model number which is 41BJBA-C902. Thank you.
