Is there a sealant or epoxy that must be or can be applied to seal clean cut ends of Trex Transcend board? Thanks.

Hello, and thank you for your interest in Trex! Trex recommends clean cutting each board end 3/16" to prevent flaring and to create straight, end cuts. The ends are not recommended to be sealed and should be left as is. However for aesthetic reasons you may paint or stain the Trex boards ends or underside with any exterior construction paint or stain that you would use on wood.
