Can boards be painted a different color?

Our boards have a fade and stain warranty, meaning if they were to be painted, this would void the fade and stain warranty offered with our product. Additionally, we cannot guarantee there is a specific paint that would adhere to the coextruded polymer shell. Paints and stains that adhere well to wood will work on the raw ends and underside of the decking without concern of voiding the fade and stain warranty.
