Is it possible to use the clips on the 8ft boards? I bought 15 of these boards for a small deck and the clips do not work! There is no groove.


Hello Alex. Thanks for reaching out to us here at Trex. Grooved decking boards must be purchased in order to utilize our Universal Hidden Fasteners. Square edged decking can be manually routed to create the groove, we do manufacture a groove cutter. Square edged decking can be face-screwed using a Trex approved screw.
