Why won’t my new mower start?

Hi there! Thanks for your question. To start this unit #21321, hold the blade-control bar against the handle and pull the recoil-start handle lightly until you feel resistance, then pull it sharply. Allow the rope to return to the handle slowly. Old fuel in the fuel tank is the leading cause of hard starting. Do not store the fuel without fuel stabilizer for more than 30 days, and do not store stabilized fuel beyond the duration recommended in the manual. To reduce starting problems, add fuel stabilizer/conditioner to fresh fuel as directed in the manual. We also recommend ensuring you complete the Setup and Maintenance steps as noted in the manual.
