Does it use a grounded (3-prong) extension cord?

Hi there! Thanks for your question. To reduce the risk of electric shock, this model #38381, has a polarized plug (i.e., one blade is wider than the other). Use only a polarized plug, UL-listed (CSA certified in Canada) extension cord recommended for outdoor use. We specify a Minimum Wire Gage (A.W.G.) of 14 for 25’ and 50’ extension cords, 12 A.W.G. for 100’ cords, and 10 A.W.G. for 150’ cords. Do not use an extension cord over 48 meters (150 feet). You can view more information on page 6 of the manual at: www.toro.com/getpub/160048. Thanks!
