Is it safe to roll out cookie dough on? knead bread on? Is it normal butcher block? I wanted to plac as an extra higher work space. Bad back.


Yes, the top is safe to roll out cookie dough or knead bread on. The top is a solid wood Birch butcher block that has a fully cured UV coating on it. The coating is a durable and a long lasting seal that protects the wood from moisture. We do not recommend cutting on the top however as the coating would be scratched easily by knives so a cutting board should be used.
